AI Boosts Experiential: While artificial intelligence might conjure images of a digital-first future, we predict it will actually fuel a resurgence of real-world experiences. With AI generating a tsunami of online content, people will crave authenticity and connection. This translates to a rise in live events like conventions, festivals, and sports, offering brands unique opportunities to engage audiences in a meaningful way.
Activate & Amplify: Gone are the days of one-off activations with minimal impact. Savvy brand marketers understand the power of amplification. Every activation day should be treated as a content goldmine, generating content for at least three days across various platforms. Influencer collaborations, press releases, and paid social media campaigns will become crucial to extend the reach and engagement beyond the initial event.
Stunts for Social: The trend of "win the internet" stunts continues to hold strong in 2024, but with a twist. We see a shift towards stunts that resonate with specific subcultures or niche communities.
