GreenHaus agency enlisted ALT TERRAIN to help bring a fun and exciting n Orange County Tourism activation to people in San Francisco.
The goal was to promote Orange County, California destinations (e.g., Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, etc.) as weekend getaways for people living the Bay Area.
The experiential activation concept involved a game show-style flash mob.
People on the street were greeted by a game show host inviting people to pick a suitcase to win what’s inside.
To attract attention team was outfitted in ‘orange’ shirts, caps, and travel suitcases, plus performed synchronized moves.
All the prizes related to OC tourism (e.g., weekend trips, beach, water bottles, etc.)
The experiential street team marketing activation occurred on a single day, in several locations (e.g., Union Square, SOMA, Financial District, etc.).
It was documented via HD photographers and videographers for social media.
It is a perfect example of how to bring a standout, memorable, surprise-and-delight brand activation.
