Citibank Experiential Marketing Event – Union Square, New York City

For the launch of Citibike in New York City, a 'Learn & Ride' experiential event in Union Square, New York City

 

Publicis Kaplan Thaler selected ALT TERRAIN to help plan, permit, produce, and manage the bank-sponsored event with fun activities to educate people about the benefits of the bike-share system, station locator app, and bike safety

A Citibike Street Skills Zone track allowed people to receive hands-on bike safety lessons

The track included asphalt decals, obstacles, instructors, and jaywalking pedestrians

All those who experienced the bike track, tweeted the event, or download the app, were treated to free ice cream and hot dog via New York City vendors

Additional experiential elements include:

Helmet fitting station and giveaways compliments of DOT

Outdoor step & repeats with the bikes and Mr. Met!

DJ spinning NYC-centric tracks
